Dear Madam Sylvia,
On 6th June, 35 days ago, I lodged a cheque with the Commercial Bank of Kuwait that I received from the United Nations as compensation for the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, where I was held as a hostage. The Commercial Bank of Kuwait forwarded the cheque to its clearance bank in London with registered post but as of todays date there has been no reply from the bank in London. Please informe if the the registered post arrived safe and if payment will be made to me.
